What is Arhi Embroidery?

Arhi embroidery, is one of the type of Indian embroidery. the similar form of embroidery techniques is applied in other regions too. It is called as tambour embroidery. The method of working is similar while the difference lies only with the tools used. In tambour embroidery they use what they call as Tambour hook whereas in Arhi embroidery it is the embroidery needle, special type of needle that resembles in shape and components as crochet hook.
The arhi emboidery is a method applied in haute couture making, as the good seamless and prickless finish is the key identity of the Haute Couture garments. Until now the Arhi embroidery and the understanding on the arhi embroidery techniques, applications and procedures and some tools are kept significantly secret. As the method is time consuming and eye straining as the work is so intricate, it makes the seeker tired very tired at first step.
This beautiful arhi embroidery has gained popularity and applications much emphasized in the bridal wear nowadays. The most popularly called bridal blouses or the wedding blouse is nothing if not the Arhi embroidery is done on it.

The brides take pride in wearing the heavily embellished blouse. however it has become standard in Arhi embroidery designing to have taken a commercial path of designing. Yes, the more hit it has got, lead it to the commercial hands thereby minimising the newer designs and exploration is completely stopped. However, as there are fads in fashion so be the fabs !
